Meet Your Therapist
Dr. Mario Mejia, PT, DPT
Dr. Mario Mejia earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they love through evidence-based, one-on-one care. His approach combines objective testing, personalized treatment, and performance-focused rehabilitation to help patients recover with confidence.
Outside the clinic, Mario stays active through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, strength training, and running. He also competed in soccer at the semi-professional level, giving him firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands athletes face during injury and recovery. When he’s not treating patients, you’ll likely find him studying the latest rehabilitation research, exploring new training methods, or spending time with family and friends.
Mario believes great rehabilitation isn’t just about getting out of pain—it’s about helping people move better, perform better, and confidently take on their next play.
